Walnut Zucchini Squares
These Walnut Zucchini Squares are one of my favorite recipes because they are so simple but very tasty! The zucchini keeps the cake nice and moist, and the walnuts give a good crunch. I like how the flavors mix together—the earthy taste of zucchini with the sweetness of the cake and the little hint of spice from cinnamon. It's not too sweet, so it’s perfect for breakfast or an afternoon snack with tea or coffee. Plus, it’s a great way to use up extra zucchini from the garden! Just follow the steps, and you will have a delicious treat in no time. Enjoy baking!

Preparation Steps
Hey there, chef! Let's make some magic with this recipe. For the best results, try to stick to the steps and ingredients list like glue. Think of it like a science experiment – weird substitutions might make things go *boom* (and not in the tasty way). 😉
Walnut Zucchini Squares
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
-
Add the grated zucchini, sugar, and oil to the bowl with the yolks, and give it a good mix!
-
Then add the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and finally the nuts, and mix everything together again.
-
Finally, whip the egg whites and fold them into the mixture.
-
Pour the mixture into a greased 9x9 pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
Chocolate Frosting
-
Once it has completely cooled, prepare the chocolate. Melt the chocolate and add oil, then slowly pour it over the cooled cake and let it set.
